For the pilot episode of The Golden Hour Project, we’re in Oxfordshire in Southern England for the Centurion Autumn 100.
Centurion Running put on four big hundred milers every year – the Thames Path, South Downs Way and North Downs Way are all point to point races.
But the final race, the Autumn 100, in mid-October, has four out-and-back legs – each leg bringing the runners back to base in the small village hall in Goring,
Some 250 runners started the race.
These are the stories of the 182 finishers, along with reflections of the Golden Hour from the volunteers.
